Digitalism‘s sophomore effort, I Love You, Dude, arrives almost four years after the release of their acclaimed the debut, 2007′s Idealism. But it’s not like the German electro duo was just sitting around on their hands: Jens Moelle and Ismail ‘Isi’ Tuefekci churned out a pair of EPs and toured to promote freshman effort for a few years before hunkering down to record I Love You, Dude. The album again aims to make you shake your ass with dancefloor-ready rhythms and even a few moments of pure pop bliss. They also enlisted the help of Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas, who co-wrote Circles.
