Gleamer debut with a three-songs EP enhanced by three lovely remixes by fellows Container, Paul Zigfrist and Jullo. Three songs proving (once ascertained that indie-rock has now been around long enough that it’s become its own kind of classic rock) how italian one is every bit as good as foreign one. There’s no way of explaining why these tunes work, and work together: no way of quantifying this perception of better. But, let’s just say it’s not what they do, but the way that they do it: the two sections (original songs and remixes) perfectly blend together, being one simply the other gone electronic, without any twisting.
